Thought Bubble 1

We moved to Houston last summer hoping the pluses would out way the minuses, and while there are some great pluses there is a big minus that I didn’t fully grasp until last week. I really truly miss my friends in DFW.

Last week I got to have dinner with some of you lovely people, and as I drove away from the restaurant it really hit me. It sucks that I didn’t make time to get together with you all more while I was up there.  I moved a lot growing up and while it made me adapt to making friends pretty easy, it also caused me to lose touch with folks. (Back before we had the internet moving to a new town over two hours away seemed like the other side of the world.)

We are stuck in Houston for the next 4 years at least, but we have already seriously started talking about moving back when the time comes. Having a nice home is great and all, but boy do we want you all back in our lives more often.

Kelly and I are going to try to make it up to DFW on the regular so we can see folks, and we of course will be at conventions as well.

We love you guys and cant wait to see you again!
